On December 26, 2023, OBTC organized and held its fifth annual innovation conference. Leaders of the company’s headquarters, branches and subsidiaries, and project managers attended the meeting.
The theme of this conference is “Focus on Innovation and win Future”, which aims to summarize the achievements and methods of OBTC in new product development and technological innovation in 2023,. After the preliminary review, 9 product research and development projects, 10 process optimization projects and 10 management improvement projects entered the final review.
At the final review meeting, the engineers elaborated on their achievements in four dimensions: project background, implementation process, innovation points and effects, and application status and benefits. The achievements covered various aspects such as spacecraft connection and separation devices,automatic stamping technology, and establishment etc.
After comprehensive evaluation by the judges, the projects “Research and Industrialization of Emergency Separation Insurance Sales for Large Passenger Aircraft”, “Research on Engineering Application of Sheet Metal Forming Simulation Technology” and “Practice of Heat Treatment Capacity Building” won the gold awards in the product development, process optimization and management improvement categories respectively. In addition, the conference also selected silver, bronze and excellent awards to encourage employees to actively improve the innovation and efficiency in production and operation, and create a good atmosphere of learning from each other and catching up.
The road of innovation is always under our feet, and the awareness of innovation is always in our minds. In 2024, OBTC will continue to work hard on innovation management, innovate business models to provide guarantees for the company’s development, and strive to achieve more breakthroughs.
